What we collect directly

Nothing. thesinkingcity2.net is a static informational website. There are no accounts, no comment systems, no forms and no newsletters. We do not collect, store, or sell personal data, and we do not run advertising.

Analytics

We use three analytics services to understand site usage:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google) — page views and usage patterns; sets cookies (e.g. _ga). See Google's privacy policy. You can opt out with the GA opt-out add-on.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) — session recordings and heatmaps to improve page layout; sets cookies. See the Microsoft privacy statement.
• Plausible Analytics (self-hosted instance) — privacy-friendly, cookieless aggregate statistics; no personal data or cross-site tracking.

We never see information that identifies you personally from these tools, and analytics data is not shared with or sold to anyone else.

Hosting (Cloudflare)

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. As with any web host, Cloudflare processes technical connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Embedded videos (YouTube)

Some pages embed videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie) player. YouTube may still set cookies or collect usage data when you press play. See Google's privacy policy.

This site links to third-party sites (Steam, Frogwares, editorial outlets). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to read.
