Steam's short description: on Halloween night, 1978, no one is safe from Michael Myers. Become the Boogeyman or fight back against the face of evil itself. Longer store copy frames a Haddonfield sandbox powered by Unreal Engine 5, with life-like NPCs and cinema-quality lighting.

The official story reveal describes an extended-cut campaign through Michael's escape from Smith's Grove Sanitarium and the Halloween night that follows. Official launch notes: play as Michael Myers or one of 10 playable Civilian characters in a 1v4 multiplayer mode. Heroes alert residents, start escapes, contact police and use household weapons.
