What is the church floodgate code?
The code is 1672 — "the year of the bell."
Where is the lock?
Chapter 2 (The Wake-Up Call). After leaving the Miskatonic Library Annex by boat, you reach a locked watergate near the Redemption Church. The lever is protected by a four-digit code lock.
How the clue works
The only hint is that the code is the year of the bell. The church records give two dates: the church was built in 1667, and its bell was cast and installed five years later — 1667 + 5 = 1672.
