Church Trident & obelisk puzzle solution
After placing the Trident, set the four obelisk symbols from top to bottom: serpent, crooked cross, spearhead, splayed womb. Validate, step away and wait for three lightning strikes before taking the charged Trident.
Exact obelisk symbol order

The note presents the gods as a movement “from depths to heights.” The obelisk interface is read in the opposite visual direction, so enter the answer top-to-bottom as listed above.
Star Key and Trident route
- Loot the Star Key from the corpse on the southwest side of the church grounds.
- Use it on the Star-marked upstairs door and take the Trident.
- Use the same key on the crypt and read A Call Upon Believers and First Vision.
- Place the Trident in the obelisk outside, enter the four-symbol order, validate and step back.
- After the third lightning strike, retrieve the charged Trident and return it to the upstairs mount.
What happens after the obelisk?
The church changes. Take the dagger from the altar figure, use it in the nearby slot and descend. Clear the basement encounter and collect the Dream Essence. Before leaving, pick up Printing Plate C from the Star-key crypt if you have not already done so.
